Enabling test mode before payment testing
Before you start payment testing
-
Integrate into the app being tested an SDK version that supports payment testing — RuStore SDK Billingclient 3.1.0 or Pay SDK version 9.0.0 or higher.
-
Make sure the Android device on which you plan to test your app has RuStore version 1.29 or higher installed.
-
Make sure the company is not blocked, monetization is enabled for it, and the app allows making purchases. You can set up subscriptions and paid items in RuStore Console but not publish them for users.
Enabling test mode
Test mode can be enabled by users with the Owner, Administrator, and Release Manager roles.
You can test payments after moderation is completed and before publishing a new app version. You can also test purchases for an app that is already published.
Test mode is enabled only for the selected app and only for the tester. In other apps, the tester will make real purchases. Also, all other users in this app will make real purchases.
By default, test mode is disabled for all users.
To enable test mode:
-
Open RuStore Console.
-
Select Applications in the top menu.
-
Go to the Monetization > Test payments tab.
-
Switch to the Testers tab.
-
Turn on the switch in the Test mode column.

After enabling test mode, the tester will make test purchases in the app and will be able to purchase items that have not yet been published.
If the required user isn't displayed in the list, add them to the app by assigning any role. They will automatically appear in the testers list with test mode turned off.
